Your first house sits on the edge, rent free.Lv6you move to a rented flat near the centre, and rent is taken automatically each week. If you cannot pay, it becomes debt. Move (Lv5→6 · 10→11 · 15→16) is a gamble that costs half your net worth. Cash in hand is a target at night, so bank it (deposits are never taken). On the Trade tab, the board carries only orders from real people. Townsfolk trade with you only as shops (Market and Wholesale). For cash now, go to Wholesale; to sell high, list on the board and wait for a buyer. One company each. Materials, hauling and selling all depend on other firms (lean on the operator and the terms are the worst). The town has one clock, running at real-world speed. The only way to skip a wait is 💎 alone (while you are new, waits are shorter; after 9 actions they reach normal length). The server holds both your money and your goods.You cannot list what you do not own. When a shop (Market or Wholesale) buys from you, it pays out of the house purse, funded by trade tax and 💎 sales. When that purse runs dry the shops stop buying, and you sell to people on the board instead.
